Wicked, the global sensation that transformed into a critically acclaimed musical, presents a mesmerizing reimagining of a beloved classic. Prepare to delve into the untold story behind one of literature's most enigmatic and misunderstood figures: the Wicked Witch of the West. With a highly anticipated movie adaptation set to enchant audiences this November, now is the perfect time to immerse yourself in this spellbinding tale.

In the land of Oz, where the line between good and evil blurs, a child is born with emerald-green skin. This girl, named Elphaba, grapples with a world that sees only her differences. As she grows into a shrewd, sharp-witted young woman, Elphaba emerges as an outsider, facing prejudice and misunderstanding wherever she goes. Her keen intellect and untapped magical prowess promise greatness, but they also mark her for a path fraught with peril and resistance.

Elphaba's quest for acceptance brings her to Shiz University, a place where she hopes to belong. Yet, she soon discovers Oz is not the haven she had envisioned; instead, it is a realm rife with injustice and oppression. Driven by an unwavering sense of justice, Elphaba becomes an unlikely champion for the voiceless, determined to combat the insidious machinations of the Wizard and defend those who cannot protect themselves.

As rumours and fear begin to twist her intentions, the world labels Elphaba a 'wicked' witch. Faced with this damning title, she must navigate the complexities of her identity and the moral quandaries of her existence. Will she succumb to the dark expectations imposed upon her, or will she redefine the nature of wickedness itself?

Discover the richly woven tapestry of Oz through a narrative that challenges our perception of good and evil. With vivid characters, profound themes, and breathtaking prose, Wicked invites readers to question what they think they know about the land of Oz and its iconic inhabitants.

Prepare to fall under the spell of Wicked, a timeless tale that continues to captivate hearts and minds around the world.
