Description
In the wake of the monster stampede, many lives were lost, but in the end the preacher was defeated. Arwin's rehabilitation is progressing well, and her symptoms are under control, though the dark marks on her skin still plague her. There's no real opportunity to celebrate, rest, or recuperate as incident after incident throws their lives into further turmoil.
Matthew's supposedly deceased compatriot Natalie appears before him. And with terrible timing, news of an unclaimed hoard of gold begins to spread. Only the guild master knows the treasure's location, so he asks Arwin and Matthew to protect his granddaughter April.
