DISCIPLINE WITHOUT TEARS: How To Reduce Conflict and Establish Cooperation in the Classroom Discipline without Tears is a modern classic within the teaching profession. The original edition was written by Pearl Cassel and Rudolf Dreikurs.
Discipline is the most difficult yet essential aspect of teaching. Multiculturalism, English as a second language, and integration of challenged students are causing constant challenges for teachers in their classrooms.
Why do children misbehave? How do you enforce discipline for effective class management? Discipline Without Tears is an informative guide to effectively dealing with misbehaviour in a classroom setting. This new edition has been updated to respond to important legal and other changes in our educational systems.
It explores the fundamentals of true classroom democracy and offers practical techniques to implement these skills during the regular teaching day. Discipline Without Tears is essential reading for any teacher or counsellorโin fact, for anyone who wishes to improve human relationships in a group situation and to train children to be responsible and cooperative.
