SAS Sniper by Robert Macklin and Rob Maylor offers an intense journey through the world's most dangerous combat zones, as experienced by an elite soldier and Royal Marine.

Rob Maylor, a skilled SAS marksman, has encountered critical action from East Timor and Iraq to Afghanistan. He recounts his presence during pivotal and perilous events, including a Black Hawk helicopter crash that claimed the lives of two comrades and Australia's largest battle in Afghanistan where a Taliban ambush left him severely wounded.

Maylor describes the gruelling process of navigating enemy territory for hours, sometimes days, positioning himself over a kilometre away from his target. With precise aim, he ensures each shot has maximum impact.

SAS Sniper delivers a gritty, no-holds-barred, behind-the-scenes look at life on the front line from an elite SAS sniper, capturing the harsh realities of warfare and the discipline required in the field.

Herald Sun praises the book as "an honest, insider's account of the dark arts of sniping and special forces."
