The Suspect
The Suspect, the gripping courtroom drama by barrister and broadcaster Rob Rinder, follows on from his No.1 Sunday Times bestselling debut The Trial. This captivating novel combines the legal intrigue of The Secret Barrister with the whodunit zeal of Janice Hallett's The Appeal.
When the UK's beloved breakfast TV presenter suddenly collapses and dies live on air, millions of viewers are left in shock and sorrow. The tragedy takes an even darker turn when evidence surfaces, suggesting her death was no mere accident. The prime suspect? Celebrity chef Sebastian Brooks, who quickly finds himself at the centre of a legal storm. However, as junior barrister Adam Green delves into the case, he discovers it's far from the straightforward situation it initially appeared to be. Beneath her angelic public persona, the presenter had a host of enemies lurking in the glittery world of television. Can Adam uncover the truth amidst the tangled motives and hidden agendas?
