About the Author

Rebecca Beetson is a Wiradjuri and Gamilaroi woman, author and artist whose family and ancestors are traditional custodians of lands in Dubbo and Morree New South Wales. Teaching, storytelling and sharing culture are central to Rebecca's creative practice. With more than a decade of experience in painting, she has sold over 200 artworks and produced public art commissions, including murals. Her art is held in both private and corporate collections.

Paul Lalo was born in France and, in 2004, arrived in Australia to study animation at the Queensland College of Art. Paul has worked as a director, animator and motion designer for TV commercials, music videos and documentaries. Paul is co-founder of Melbourne-based animation boutique Soymilk Studio which specialises in stop-motion and motion design.
