About the Author

Ramin Zahed is a New York Times bestselling author and editor-in-chief of Animation Magazine. His books include The Art of The Mitchells vs. The Machines; Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: The Art of the Movie; The Art of DreamWorks Puss in Boots: The Last Wish; Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: The Art of the Movie. He lives in Los Angeles, California.

Dav Pilkey was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia when he was a kid. He was so disruptive in class that his teachers made him sit out in the hallway every day. Luckily, Dav loved to draw and make up stories. He spent his time in the hallway creating his own original comic books-the very first adventures of Dog Man and Captain Underpants. In the second grade, Dav's teacher ripped up his comics and told him he couldn't spend the rest of his life making silly books. Fortunately, Dav was not a very good listener.

Peter Hastings is a six-time Emmy Award-winning writer, director, and producer. His work as a producer and writer on the Warner Bros. series Animaniacs also earned him a Peabody Award. In addition to his latest writing and directing endeavor for the feature film adaptation of Dog Man, his credits include Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, Pinky and the Brain, Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Disney's One Saturday Morning.
