The Case of the Viral Video: Violet and the Velvets 3
Violet and her band of unlikely rockstars have made it to the national BandChamps finals!
Violet and the Velvets can hardly believe they've come so far in the BandChamps competition with only hard work, a smidge of talent, and a whole lot of thinking outside the box.
This time, they get to record their new song in a proper recording studio and star in their very own music video!
But Violet is letting her perfectionism get the better of her, and the band is getting fed up. And when they get a taste of the real music business, they're not so sure they like it.
Can the gang make it to the finals without losing their identity, or worse, falling apart?
And what's going on with their new rivals, the Starling Sisters, and that viral video?

About the Author
Rachael King is the author of three books in the Violet & The Velvets series, and two stand-alone middle-grade novels, The Grimmelings and Red Rocks (now a major television series). She began performing at fifteen years old, only six weeks after she first picked up a bass, and went on to play with six bands, including The Cakekitchen and 3Ds. Rachael invented Violet and the Velvets to convey the joy of the DIY punk ethos and to show girls they don't have to be singers or proficient musicians to be in a band.
