Her life takes a tragic turn when her older sister, Katia, is killed by an off-duty police officer. Determined to clear Katia's name and uncover the truth, Beau sets out to find the only witness to the murderβKatia's boyfriend, Jordan, who has mysteriously disappeared.
Beau creates a Twitter account to collect anonymous tips, determined to shed light on the incident. As she digs deeper, the stakes increase, placing her in danger. Additionally, Beau must navigate a new romantic relationship and the challenge of holding her family together. With mounting pressure and risk, Beau must decide how far she is willing to go to ensure Katia's death is not ignored, like so many other Black women before her.
