About the Author

Paul M. Kurowski Ph.D, P.Eng obtained his M.Sc and Ph.D in Applied Mechanics from Warsaw Technical University. He completed postdoctoral work at Kyoto University. Dr Kurowski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at the University of Western Ontario. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and the Society of Automotive Engineers.
