In a world where pet dogs and cats are humanised, who really owns whom?

Due to a declining birth rate, pets are being transformed into humanised members of society. But are they truly human? Or are humans truly animals?

Taika's Reason, Vol. 2 explores these intriguing questions. Taika tries out for the basketball team but doesn’t understand the rules of the human game. A love triangle starts to develop around Ao—or is it a quadrangle? Meanwhile, Anna, a mysterious catperson, threatens to blackmail Taika and viciously attacks a classmate. What is she after? And who is she really?
