DescriptionEmbark on an exhilarating adventure with Monkey D. Luffy and his fearless crew as they navigate the treacherous Grand Line in search of the legendary treasure, One Piece.
From a young age, Monkey D. Luffy dreamed of becoming the King of the Pirates. His destiny took a remarkable turn when he ate the Gum-Gum Fruit, a Devil Fruit that bestowed upon him the extraordinary ability to stretch his body like rubber. However, this newfound power came with a significant drawback—Luffy lost the ability to swim, an ironic handicap for an aspiring pirate king.
Years later, with an undying spirit and unwavering determination, Luffy sets off on his grand quest to find the ultimate treasure, One Piece, believed to be the greatest treasure in the world. Along his journey, he encounters a diverse and loyal crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, each member bringing their unique skills and backgrounds to the table.
In this exciting volume, the Straw Hat Pirates continue their perilous adventure in the ancient kingdom of Alabasta. Luffy's epic showdown with Baroque Works pirate captain Crocodile reaches new heights of intensity. Meanwhile, the deposed princess Vivi and the rest of the crew race against time to save their beloved kingdom from imminent destruction.
Just when the crew believes they have a moment of respite, they uncover a surprising betrayal within their ranks. A mysterious former Baroque Works member infiltrates their crew, leaving the Straw Hats questioning her true intentions and allegiances. Who is this enigmatic figure, and what does she want from Luffy and his companions?
