About the Author
Odile Archambault founded the blog Maman a un plan (Mom Has a Plan) in January 2013 because she wanted to share her thoughts on family life, her activity ideas and her favourites. She is a social media and marketing strategy consultant, as well as a web editor. She is also a speaker on parenting issues with Marianne Prairie.
Marianne Prairie ia a member of the popular artistic and humorous quintet Les Moquettes Coquettes, Marianne has performed on television, radio, on stage, in the press and on the Web. She is regularly interviewed and quoted in articles that deal with feminist issues, sexism, family and she presents at conferences on these subjects. She is also an editor.
Genevieve Godbout is a freelance illustrator who specialises in children's literature. She now lives in Montreal, surrounded by her little family, after many years spent in London as a Winnie the Pooh character artist for the Walt Disney Company. Her distinctive style in soft pastels and coloured pencils convey nostalgia from another era. She works with various publishers such as Tundra Books, Penguin Random House, Harper Collins, Quarto, Comme des Geants and La Pasteque. Genevieve's work was selected for the Society of Illustrators Original Exhibit in New York in 2017, 2018 and 2019 for her books Johnny Appleseed, Goodnight, Anne and Apple Cake. She currently works on the sequel to What's Up, Maloo?, her debut album as an author, in addition to a new children's book to be released by Candlewick Press in the United States next year.
