About the Author
Kes Gray exploded onto the bookshelves with his debut, prize-winning picture book, Eat Your Peas, but is also a successful chapter book author too. Kes is committed to making children laugh, think, and feel, and parents, carers, and teachers use his books to get children hooked on reading. Ruby Wright studied sculpture, worked at the BBC, and took a foray into printmaking before embarking on a career in picture books. She tries to draw from life every day and her debut book, Animal Crackers was published in 2023 by Rocket Bird Books and nominated for the Klaus Flugge Prize.
