South Pacific Cut

By day, foreign fishing vessels legally harvest tuna in the waters of Samoa.

By night, they become part of a ruthless criminal syndicate targeting sharks for the lucrative fin trade.

When mutilated carcasses begin washing onto remote beaches without their fins, marine biologist and ocean enforcement agent Leilani is assigned to an undercover investigation, in partnership with the Government.

As she embeds into isolated villages along the coast, Leilani uncovers a network involving offshore transshipments, corruption and intimidation. Local fishermen work on the shark finning vessels, caught between poverty and exploitation, while every step toward discovering the truth puts her life in greater danger.

As cyclone season closes in, she must risk everything to expose the trade.

Inspired by the real illegal shark fin trade, South Pacific Cut is a gripping crime thriller that will take you beneath the surface of paradise.
