What Would You Do?: Community and the Environment is a fun children's book that presents six real-life moral dilemmas children might face. It encourages readers to consider the pros and cons of possible resolutions. The book offers plenty of food for thought but ultimately asks the child, 'What would YOU do?', empowering them to make their own decisions. It is designed to help children develop independent-thinking and decision-making skills.

The scenarios have been tested in classrooms to ensure the examples and resolutions are age-appropriate. Notes for parents and teachers are included at the back of each book.

The author, Jana Mohr Lone, serves as the Executive Director of the Philosophy Learning and Teaching Organization (PLATO) and is an affiliate faculty member in philosophy at the University of Washington. With over 25 years of experience, Jana has led philosophy sessions with students from preschool to graduate school.
