About the Author

Multi-million-selling Jamie Smart is the creator behind such well-loved series as Bunny vs Monkey, Megalomaniacs and Looshkin, all of which regularly feature in the hugely popular comic The Phoenix. He is also the creator of the Max and Chaffy comic series for younger readers.

In 2024, Jamie was named Illustrator of the Year and won the Illustrated Children's Book Award at the British Book Awards, as well as Illustrator of the Year and Best Book for Ages 6-8 at the Lollies Awards.
