About the Author
Haley Pierson-Cox is craft writer, cross stitch designer, and craft book author who lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and their very large rescue cat, Mr. Big Stuff. In addition to cross stitch, Haley is a knitter, sewer, quilter, and general maker of things who believes in the value of people, especially women, coming together to pass along both the skills and the community found in making things by hand. Haley is a co-host of the Very Serious Crafts podcast, the creative behind the craft blog Red-Handled Scissors, and the author of the books Improper Cross-Stitch and The Golden Girls (Cross Stitch).
