After three decades of dreaming, planning, and saving, the hopeful voyagers sailed off into the sunset dreaming of palm trees and coconuts. They found what they had longed for, but also saw the other side of paradise. Waterspouts chased them down, pirates plundered, hurricanes relented, and midnight distress calls to the Coast Guard were made. They even learned the exact purpose of a nut jiggler late one night at a beach bonfire.
