Fatherless, friendly 31yoF looking for intrepid M50s-70s who wants to try being a father figure (not sugar daddy).

Never Had a Dad by Georgie Codd tells the story of a woman, Georgie, who never had a father. She never thought this would change until a stranger's practical joke sparked the idea that she might find one. Her quest for a father figure begins, leading her to place 'dadverts' in newspapers, magazines, and corners of the internet frequented by potential fatherly figures.

As she engages in conversations and meetings while exploring new familial relationships with strangers, the book delves into the societal, cultural, and biological functions of fatherhood. Codd examines what influences the decision to have or not have children and explores the experiences of single parents, queer communities, people rejected by their birth families, and those who do the rejecting. Additionally, she questions why so many individuals were interested in roles beyond mere parenthood.

By turns brilliant and bonkers, hilarious and poignant, Never Had a Dad offers an unexpected story of the strange, intimate things we mean when we talk about family.
