Salmon Forest
Salmon Forest
In this beautiful tribute to the Pacific rainforest for kids aged 4-8, discover the surprising connection between salmon and the forest, and why they need each other.
In this new edition of a classic, internationally acclaimed scientist David Suzuki and celebrated author Sarah Ellis share the life cycle of salmon in tender dialogue between Kate and her dad as they hike through the woods, meeting animals and friends along the way.
The charming and informative text, accompanied by Sheena Lott's exquisite watercolour art, magically evokes the spirit and mystery of the West Coast rainforest and celebrates salmon forests from an Indigenous perspective. Together, the text and illustrations illuminate the interconnectedness of the forest and the sea and of all life in between.
