Hi! I'm Pep Pep Loo Loo and I'm starring in an all-new children's book about my adventures in potty training!

Pep Pep Loo Loo is a fun-loving dog who wants to learn how to use the potty! She gets a few lessons from her mum and her toy friend stuffies: Goldie Giraffe, Zoe Zebra, and Willie the Whale. This is an educational yet entertaining way for parents to teach the joys of potty training. Children, caregivers, and parents alike will have a laugh while accomplishing this useful task!

Pep Pep Loo Loo's Tummy is Full (a potty training guide) uses colourful illustrations and words from friendly animal characters to help demonstrate how a child can recognise and communicate their body's signs of fullness, how to use the potty correctly along with teaching proper hygiene including washing hands. Celebrate your child's successful transition to the big kid toilet with the calendar/sticker rewards page in this playful toilet-training educational guide.

Pep Pep Loo Loo's Tummy is Full (a potty training guide) was created from a mix of comical and lighthearted ideas among our family. Pep Pep Loo Loo's character is based on our real-life rescue dog named Pepper! Pepper is the cutest dog with the funniest and most playful ears. We all love her so much, and one evening we began a frolicsome tale about Pepper and how cute she would be as the star character in a children's book. After many fun twists and turns, Pep Pep Loo Loo, her friends, and their potty training journey came to fruition.

This book and 3 Squares Creations are built out of lots of love and determination and support from Kellie Royster Schumacher. Kellie has been the backbone of this project, providing the business savvy and finances. Kellie (financier) and Danielle (author) are cousins; Michael (illustrator) is Danielle's father; Mady (crochet stuffie maker) is Danielle's longtime friend's daughter; Austin (web designer) is the youngest son of Danielle, and Bailee and Nicole (social media) are both part of the family as well. This has been a fun family project in which we have enjoyed jumping in together to bring joy to all the little ones in our family as well as yours.

The ABCs of Potty Training:

  • Appropriate age
  • Be sure your child can walk to and sit on the toilet
  • Communication is key: be sure your child can communicate when he/she needs to go
  • Devote the time and energy to be consistent on a daily basis
  • Equipment is important such as a child's own potty seat, or a step stool and toilet ring
  • Figure out which words all caregivers will use to describe bodily fluids and private parts
  • Give lots and lots of opportunity for your child to sit on the potty
  • Help your child by reading Pep Pep Loo Loo's Tummy is Full (a potty training guide)
  • Invite Pep Pep Loo Loo's stuffie friends to sit with your child near the potty
  • Join the fun by taking time to sit with your child frequently
  • Kind and encouraging words are always useful even for just trying
  • Let's wash hands! Always teach your child proper hygiene
  • Make a chart to track your child's progress (or use Pep's calendar and sticker page)
  • Next, be prepared for accidents while your child is learning to potty train
  • On-the-go training is inevitable, but should be avoided as much as possible

Pep Pep Loo Loo's Tummy is Full (a potty training guide) is a fun family book that is sure to bring fun, laughter, joy, and success amongst your family as you begin and/or continue the quest of potty training with your son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, goddaughter, and young children alike.

Enjoy your potty training adventures with Pep Pep Loo Loo and her friends today!
