It's the first day of high school, and Cherie is unsure how to find her place. But then she meets Naomi, a fellow freshman and fan of Orange High School Bakery Club—Cherie's favourite anime. Naomi's warmth and confidence ignite confusing feelings in Cherie. Their duo becomes a trio when they befriend Miro, a boy in their class with an interest in learning about anime.

Enter Jenny: a charismatic upperclassman and president of the school's anime club. When she invites the three friends to join, it creates tension between them. As Cherie, Naomi, and Miro deal with complicated feelings, can their special bond survive? And will their love of anime endure?

About the Author

Stephanie Evangelista Fukuda is an author illustrator from Queens, New York. She's worked on two original series with Webtoon: SKATE FIRE 100 and DO YOU REMEMBER. Attending Fiorello H. LaGuardia high school as a teenager invigorated her desire to make it in the art world. She loves manga, movies, playing video games and making her friends and especially her husband laugh. Daigo Fukuda is a Japanese American author illustrator born and raised in Astoria, Queens. After graduating from Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Illustration, he has worked on two Webtoon Original serializations: SKATE FIRE 100 and LILY CROWN. Exposed to both American and Japanese media, his blend of influences are on display in his comic work. In his free time he is cleaning, slowly reading through a stack of books he hasn't touched since he bought them, or watching movies with his wife!
