Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton is a sparkling memoir capturing the highs and lows of navigating love and life in your twenties. This Sunday Times bestseller unfolds like a delightful conversation with an old friend, full of humour, heartbreak, and hope. Dolly Alderton takes readers on an unforgettable journey through her own experiences, revealing the messy, beautiful reality of growing up and finding oneself in an ever-changing world.

From the excitement of young love and the agony of heartbreak to the awkward first steps into adulthood, Alderton's stories resonate with anyone who has ever questioned the path they're on. Her vivid recollections weave together moments of joy and despair, like throwing a disastrously themed Rod Stewart house party, wrestling with self-sabotage, getting drunk, and dealing with the sometimes devastating reality of breakups.

But Everything I Know About Love is more than just a collection of anecdotes; it’s a heartfelt celebration of friendship. Amidst the chaos of early adulthood, Alderton finds solace and strength in her close-knit group of friends. Whether it's Ivan from the corner shop, the only man she feels she can truly rely on, or her loyal mates who stand by her side at the end of every tumultuous night out, the memoir highlights how love in all its forms shapes our lives.

With gleaming wit, insightful introspection, and an abundance of humour, Alderton explores the profound bond between friends and the enduring power of love. Her perceptive observations shine a light on the universal struggles of finding a job, establishing independence, and ultimately, recognising that true love often comes from those who have stood by us through every trial and triumph.

Brimming with nuggets of wisdom wrapped in delightful prose, Everything I Know About Love is an essential read for anyone grappling with the unpredictability of early adulthood. Dolly Alderton's witty and candid memoir will make you laugh, cry, and feel a little bit less alone on your own journey to self-discovery.
