The Neverending Book

Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

A runaway bestseller in Japan, The Neverending Book is both a standout illustrated fable and a love letter to those for whom books are so much more than words on paper.

A book that makes the sound of turning pages fractionally too early, infuriating its readers; a diary shared by two children with painful secrets; a photo album left by a dying father for when his daughter gets married...

From the comically irreverent to the heart-rending to the heart-warming, The Neverending Book delves into all that a book can be, forming an enchanting compendium that reveals the ways in which we interact with books, and the importance they hold in our heartsβ€” all told through the tale of two subjects gathering stories about books for their blind, book-loving king.
