Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Transcend limiting beliefs and transform your life, so that you can manifest your limitless potential. Part inspiration, part memoir, Unbounded is for people who wish to explore their own identity and inspire change in their own life.

What would you change in your life if you could silence the voice that tells you: you’re not enough, keep quiet, you can’t do it, or there is no space for you?

As a queer child of immigrants, Maria Thattil knows what it is like to struggle with belonging. In Unbounded, she shares galvanising stories of what she has lived and learned through experiencing racism, sexism, financial hardship, intergenerational trauma, homophobia, and mental health challenges.

Through it all, Maria held onto hope and belief that her experiences could be turned into powerβ€”something she proved when she became only the third woman of colour to represent Australia in the Miss Universe competition in 2021, and created a media platform fiercely advocating for empowerment, inclusion, and equality.

Revealing ten steps to self-mastery, Unbounded offers a path towards active growth, fearless self-love, and liberation.

It’s time to break free of what binds you, and live up to all that you are.

About the Author

One of Australia's boldest voices, Maria Thattil is a media personality, advocate, writer, speaker and creator. Propelled into the spotlight when she was crowned Miss Universe Australia in 2020, she placed in the top ten of the international competition in 2021 and was only the third woman of colour to represent Australia in the pageant's sixty-nine year history. A sought-after columnist, Maria writes for outlets including 9Honey, Stellar magazine, Body+Soul, Mamamia and Women's Agenda. She has headlined global campaigns championing LGBTQIA+ rights, inclusion and equality for brands including Olay, Clinique, Piper Heidseick and L'Oreal Paris. A current panelist on Channel 9's Today Extra and Talking Honey, Maria's 2022 appearance on I'm a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here! made waves internationally when she came out as bisexual on-air. A passionate advocate for diversity, LGBTQIA+ rights and the protection of women and children from violence, Maria has dedicated her career to campaigning for change and representation. She lives in Melbourne and spends the rest of her time fawning over her dog and consuming excessive amounts of Nutella.
