Rivals of Sea and Sky
Rivals of Sea and Sky
Rivals of Sea and Sky is the first book in Marianne Morea's steamy fantasy romance series. If you like dark action adventure and forbidden love, then you'll love this book.
Eden Aossi, heir to the Summer Court, has everything a fae princess is supposed to want—couture gowns, enchanted castles, and a destiny etched in starlight. What she doesn't have? The freedom to actually live her own life.
Stuck in etiquette lessons and royal obligations, Eden feels less like a future queen and more like a collectible locked in a glass case. Luckily, she's not alone. Her mentor and mischievous wizard Merlin—yes, that one—is more than happy to nudge her toward a little well-placed rebellion.
When a chance pops up to ditch the crown-polishing and sneak into the Winter Court gala, she's gone faster than you can say fairy glam squad, trading duty for one night of dazzling lights, music, and the kind of freedom she's only ever seen in mortal movies.
That's when she collides with Daire Dannean: Winter's heir, sworn enemy, and walking reminder that she's in way over her head. The spark between them is undeniable, inconvenient, and maybe even dangerous. But for the first time, Eden feels seen—not as an heir, but as herself.
As the two navigate glittering courts, tangled loyalties, the complex pop culture of the human world, and shadows lurking at the edge, they discover a shared dream: breaking free of tradition and forging a new future. Trouble is, not everyone wants peace... and some will do anything to keep them apart.
Magic, betrayal, and a forbidden romance, Eden's about to learn that happily ever after isn't a fairy tale. It's a glow-up.
Rivals of Sea and Sky is an adult romantasy with a youthful voice in a mix between our contemporary world and the fantastical world of the fae. Follow Eden and her cohorts as they navigate these differences as only young fae can!
Paperback includes: a custom designed fore-edge printed page edge and beautiful chapter headings.

About the Author
Marianne Morea has always been a scribbler. From the time she could write her name, she has been making up stories, writing characters and dialogue in the corners of notebooks. She has been married for 28 years, has three beautiful kids, three dogs, and a cat. She is a 2nd degree black belt in traditional Japanese karate and loves to travel. Her romantic and spontaneous husband shares that passion with her, so her stories get plenty of inspiration!
