About the Author

ROSIE NEAVE is an editor and writer living in London. She has worked on hundreds of children's books, from lift-flap novelty titles to enormous encyclopaedias and from rhyming activity books to adaptations of classics. Rosie especially enjoys the research stages of a project and loves finding creative ways to spark a child's curiosity.

MARY ATWOOD is an illustrator exploring colour, solving problems and creating work inspired by her travels, folklore, nature and Taiwanese-American heritage. She has enjoyed both in-house and freelance design roles over the past 8 years, creating illustrations and patterns for home decor, stationery, textile and gift products carried by several stores including: Target, Nordstrom, Macy's, Whole Foods and lovely local boutiques. Equipped with a drawing tablet and a desk constantly covered in plants and various objects for studying, gouache and watercolour paints, and a large collection of brushes and pencils, her passion is to learn and grow through making work that sparks both curiosity and inspiration in others.
