A debut picture book from New York Times-bestselling author Randy Rainbow, featuring a boy who is gifted a pair of his granny's pink glasses and starts to see his world differently.
Randy Rainbow is uniquely himself. He loves painting his nails, listening to his old Broadway albums, and decorating for his favourite holiday, Halloween—even if it's summer.
But when some kids at school tease Randy for being who he is, he goes to his beloved granny for a solution. And she has just the thing—a pair of sparkly pink glasses.
The moment Randy puts the glasses on, the drab world around him turns Technicolor in a blink! The glasses make even the most boring situation fun, and Randy starts to embrace who he really is.
But when the glasses break, Randy has to figure out—were the glasses magical, or was the magic inside of him the whole time?
With bright, beautiful art and a hero you'll root for on every page, Randy Rainbow and the Marvelously Magical Pink Glasses is a fun and powerful book about embracing who you really are—even when it's easier to blend in.
