About the Author
Maurice Hamilton was the Observer's motor racing correspondent from 1990 to 2010 and a summariser on BBC Radio Five Live's motor racing coverage. He has written more than a dozen F1 books, including Formula 1: The Pursuit of Speed - A Photographic Celebration of F1, and numerous F1 biographies. He lives in Sussex.
