The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane Deluxe Collector's Edition
The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane Deluxe Collector's Edition by Kate DiCamillo, is a classic tale about the enduring power of love, now available in an exquisite twentieth-anniversary edition. This special edition features sprayed edges, a special afterword by the author, and an all-new illustration by the artist.
Once, in a house on Egypt Street, there lived a china rabbit named Edward Tulane. The rabbit was very pleased with himself, and for good reason: he was owned by a girl named Abilene, who treated him with the utmost care and adored him completely. And then, one day, he was lost.
Kate DiCamillo takes us on an extraordinary journey, from the depths of the ocean to the net of a fisherman, from the top of a garbage heap to the fireside of a hobo camp, from the bedside of an ailing child to the bustling streets of Memphis. Along the way, we are shown a true miracleβthat even a heart of the most breakable kind can learn to love, to lose, and to love again.
Printed in full colour, this beautifully designed digest-size edition, complete with foil stamping, a ribbon bookmark, and sprayed edges, includes an essay from Kate DiCamillo about how she came to write the story of Edward. Additionally, it features a new piece of art from Bagram Ibatoulline, bringing the authorβs dreams to life.
