In a devastated and forbidden world, where the Earth’s surface is nothing but a death sentence, humanity's last remnants reside in a massive underground silo. This is the gripping setting of Wool by Hugh Howey, an epic tale of survival against all odds, recently adapted into the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ series, Silo.

Within the walls of the silo, men and women adhere to rigorous rules and severe regulations that govern every aspect of their confined existence. Secrets and fabrications abound, designed to maintain order and prevent the populace from succumbing to despair. However, some individuals dare to question these imposed truths and dream of a life beyond the suffocating constraints. These rebels, driven by hope and courage, confront the perilous reality of breaking the rules.

Jules is one such individual. Her inherent curiosity and defiance set her on a collision course with the silo's stringent authorities. As she unravels the dark mysteries of her world, Jules is faced with the most daunting of questions: Is there a chance for life beyond the suffocating boundaries of the silo? And if so, at what cost?

Praised by readers and critics alike, Wool pushes the boundaries of dystopian fiction, crafting a narrative that is both thrilling and thought-provoking. Hugh Howey's masterful storytelling and vivid world-building will grip you from the first page and not let go until the stunning conclusion.

About the Author

Hugh Howey spent eight years living on boats and working as a yacht captain for the rich and famous. It wasn't until the love of his life carried him away from these vagabond ways that he began to pursue literary adventures, rather than literal ones. Hugh wrote and self-published the Wool trilogy, which won rave reviews and praise from readers, and whose three books have gone on to become international bestsellers.
