A beautiful hardback classic edition of Stephen King's first published novel, Carrie, produced for the fiftieth Anniversary, with a new introduction by Margaret Atwood.

Carrie White is a shy high school girl with a deeply religious, fanatical mother. Ostracised by her peers and relentlessly bullied, Carrie harbours a secret that sets her apart from everyone else — the ability to move objects with her mind. This psychic power, known as telekinesis, becomes both a gift and a curse as Carrie faces daily torment at school.

When Carrie is unexpectedly invited to Prom Night by Tommy Ross, one of the most popular boys in school, she begins to believe that she might finally be accepted. This invitation seems to be a turning point, a chance for Carrie to experience happiness and social acceptance. However, beneath this glimmer of hope lies a sinister plot orchestrated by those who wish her harm.

The night of the prom, which starts as a dream come true, quickly descends into a horrifying nightmare. Betrayed and humiliated on an unimaginable scale, Carrie is pushed to her breaking point, unleashing her telekinetic powers in an act of devastating vengeance that will leave the entire town of Chamberlain, Maine, forever changed.

The new edition of Carrie is not just a reprint but a celebration of Stephen King's groundbreaking debut, which established him as a master of horror and suspense. With a thought-provoking introduction by acclaimed author Margaret Atwood, readers are invited to rediscover this classic tale of power, revenge, and the extreme consequences of bullying.

Join Carrie White on her tragic yet captivating journey — a tale that remains as haunting and relevant today as it was when first published.
