My Hero Academia, Vol. 26 by Kohei Horikoshi continues the thrilling journey of Izuku Midoriya as he strives to become the world's greatest hero in a society where 80 percent of the population possesses extraordinary abilities known as "Quirks." In this world, heroes and villains are locked in constant battle, and young aspiring heroes flock to U.A. High School, the premier Hero Academy, to hone their skills. But what if you're among the 20 percent born Quirkless? Such is the challenge faced by Midoriya, who must prove himself worthy of the Quirk he inherited from the legendary hero, All Might.

In this volume, the stakes are higher than ever. Hawks, the winged hero, and the Safety Commission have uncovered vital intelligence: a massive villain attack is on the horizon. The heroes are racing against time to prepare. As part of these critical preparations, Eraser Head and Present Mic embark on a dangerous mission to Tartarus prison, a facility that houses the most nefarious villains.

Meanwhile, Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki are placed under the rigorous tutelage of the formidable Pro Hero, Endeavor. Determined to become heroes capable of standing on their own, the trio faces grueling training sessions designed to push their Quirks beyond their limits. Alongside intense physical and mental challenges, they must also navigate the complexities of their interpersonal relationships.

In a lighter but equally tense subplot, Midoriya and his friends find themselves invited to a dinner party at the Todoroki household. Amidst the tense undercurrents of a family with a complicated past and high expectations, the young heroes must navigate this social minefield while maintaining their focus on the greater threats looming on the horizon.

My Hero Academia, Vol. 26 is a compelling blend of action, drama, and character development. The story delves deep into the personal struggles and growth of its characters while building up to an impending clash that promises to shake the very foundations of their world. For fans of the series, this volume offers a rich, detailed narrative that pushes the storyline forward while exploring the intricate dynamics between heroes and villains, mentors and students, and friends and adversaries.
