Donovan Bixley
Donovan Bixley is one of New Zealand’s most acclaimed and prolific author-illustrators, with a career spanning over 100 books published in more than 30 countries. Based in Taupō, Bixley is a versatile creator whose work bridges the gap between high-brow historical biographies and high-energy children's fiction. In 2021, his immense contribution to literature was formally recognized when he was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM).
