They feel like a natural fit for our bookstore, encouraging the same creativity and character building that books do. 🐰 New to Sylvanian Families?
Sylvanian Families began in Japan in 1985, created by toy company Epoch as a charming line of collectible woodland animal figures living in the fictional village of Sylvania. The name Sylvanian means “of the forest”, reflecting the brand’s focus on nature, family and gentle imaginative play.
The toys quickly became popular at home and abroad, launching in the UK in 1987 and winning Toy of the Year three years in a row, becoming a beloved classic for kids and collectors around the world.
Because of that long history and storytelling heritage, Sylvanian Families feels like a perfect fit for a bookstore that celebrates imagination and creativity.
