A huge thank you for an incredible Bookshop Day!
What an amazing day it was! Busy from the moment we opened, full of familiar faces and plenty of new ones too. We couldn’t have asked for a better day.
The coffee was flowing and the in-store buzz reminded us just how much we all love books and local bookshops! The behind-the-scenes tours were a hit too, it was lovely to chat with so many customers about how they discovered Book Hero and what they value about it. We heard time and again how much people appreciate having an online store that delivers quickly and reliably, while still supporting local people and the local economy. We built Book Hero to be the kind of store we’d want to shop at ourselves, and it’s incredibly reassuring to meet so many like-minded readers who share those values.
We want to say a huge thank you! To everyone who stopped by, grabbed a book (in store and online!), said hello, or supported us in any way, you made the day what it was. Your enthusiasm keeps our store humming, and we’re so grateful to be part of such a passionate reading community!

Lovely to see some flowers in the shop. I think they feel very welcoming. Good to have an activity area for the kids too.
