Follow the incredible story of Rihanna, from a young girl in Barbados to an international superstar and successful businesswoman. Robyn Rihanna Fenty grew up on the Caribbean island of Barbados. Despite a tough childhood that meant she often had to look after her younger brothers, little Rihanna always found time to sing and loved putting on shows for her family.

After a life-changing audition, a teenage Rihanna found herself in New York. Her dreams were coming true! Bursting onto the scene with hits like 'Umbrella' and 'Diamonds', she quickly became one of the most popular artists of all time. With 14 number-one singles to her name, Rihanna is the best-selling female recording artist of the twenty-first century.

Alongside her music, Rihanna became a fashion and beauty icon, but she struggled to find make-up that suited her skin tone. She was inspired to launch a game-changing inclusive beauty and fashion brand, Fenty, designed to celebrate people of all different colours, shapes and sizes.

She is also a dedicated philanthropist, working through her Clara Lionel Foundation to support education, disaster relief, and healthcare worldwide. She is the ambassador for culture and youth in Barbados, and many on the island celebrate 'Rihanna Day' on 2 February.

Rihanna's journey proves that hard work, creativity, and self-belief can break down any barriers. Now a mother herself, the girl from Barbados continues to shine bright and inspire others to be confident and proud of who they are.

This inspirational book features stunning illustrations and extra facts at the back, including a biographical timeline with historical photos and a detailed profile of the superstar's life.
