Karin Brynard is one of South Africaβs most successful crime writers. A former political and investigative journalist, she uses her research skills and eye for detail to fascinating effect in Weeping Waters. She has written two more novels in the prize-winning Inspector Albertus Beeslaar series and is working on a fourth. Maya Fowler is a South African-born novelist, translator and editor.
