Turning Points in Australian History
'If only', 'what if' and 'why didn't we' are are phrases that often come to mind when we look back to the past. This exciting and stimulating book looks back at turning points and crucial moments in Australian history.
Turning Points in Australian History invites readers to reflect on the pivotal moments that have shaped the nation. The book delves into the intriguing "if only", "what if", and "why didn't we" scenarios that emerge when examining the past. Rather than suggesting that history followed a predetermined path, it challenges us to consider the alternative routes and potentially better outcomes that could have unfolded.
Through its exploration, the book reveals that a decisive event often only gains significance in hindsight. It questions how what was perceived as a major turning point at the time sometimes proves to have little real impact. This exciting and stimulating read encourages us to reconsider how history has been formed and the moments that truly mattered.
