A Court This Cruel and Lovely

Okay now THIS is what a romantasy should be. Sometimes there are some stories that engrave themselves into your mind. A Court this Cruel and Lovely attached itself to effortlessly to my subconscious and now I might not ever stop thinking of it.

Prisca in her village, forever hiding herself, forever wishing for something she could never have was gut-wrenching. Once things turned sideways and she got out, watching her personal journey alongside the rag-tag group of mercenaries she learns to call 'family' was everything I could have hoped for.

Lorian. Oh my. This man had me laughing, squealing, kicking my feet when I shouldn't have. But what can I say, I love a red flag. I loved having his POV and seeing him fight with himself against thoughts and feelings he didn't want to be having.
I adored the chemistry between the two characters, they needed each other, despite how much they fought against it. Their banter was top notch and the tension was sizzling.

The way Stacia writes is so captivating, it was easy to get completely lost in the story... and before I knew it I was at the end of the book. If you love Enemies to lovers, found family, forced proximity, slow burn romance, hilarious banter then pick up this book immediately please I beg.
