About the Author

Shawntae Sneed was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She is married to the husband of her youth, and together they have two wonderful children. Shawntae is an inspirational author, who writes with passion and purpose. She utilizes her gift of writing with hopes of making a positive difference in the lives of adults and children. Shawntae has written and published three books and aspires to write more books in the near future. She is the author of Igniting Your Inner Fire and You Are a Work in Progress. Shawntae's journey as a published author has gained her valuable recognition and publicity on many platforms, including newspaper articles and magazines. She has been interviewed online and in person to share her authorship journey with others. Shawntae was also Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who in America. Her biography is currently available online and will be printed in libraries worldwide in 2024. Shawntae's third book is her newest release, Activate Your Inner Power. It is a children's book filled with inspiration and positive affirmations. She is super-excited to share this publication with children all around the nation. This book is an excellent guide for building self-confidence and an amazing teaching tool for Educators, Counselors, Librarians, and anyone else who would like to make a powerful impact in the lives of children. Shawntae wants to inspire and empower youth to become the best version of themselves. She is a positive role model for children and has insightful experience on how to uplift the youth at every age level. In addition to her writing career, Shawntae works a full-time job as a paraprofessional in an elementary school. She has worked with children for most of her life and loves the joy they bring to her heart.

Shawntae is also very passionate about fitness, and she strives to be the epitome of health and wellness. She is a certified personal trainer, certified fitness instructor, certified nutrition specialist, and certified women's specialist through Les Mills, an international fitness corporation. Shawntae believes the sky is the limit, and she endeavors to do many great things in her lifetime. She lives her life with an attitude of gratitude. Shawntae is often referred to as "Sunshine" because she shines brightly and aims daily to brighten someone's day. Shawntae's motto is a smile a day will make everything okay. She has been featured in a local newspaper article that highlighted her uplifting attitude. Shawntae's ultimate goal is to spread joy and positivity to as many people as possible through her lifestyle and literary works. She is on a purposeful mission to help make the world a better and brighter place. Shawntae wants to leave a legacy that is legendary!
