Prepare to be transported back to the world of Westeros with George R.R. Martin's A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, a thrilling prequel to the epic A Song of Ice and Fire series.

A century before the events of A Game of Thrones, the realm is roiled by political intrigue, noble quests, and the lingering influence of the Targaryen dynasty. The collection comprises three novellas: The Hedge Knight, The Sworn Sword, and The Mystery Knight. Each of these tales follows the adventures of two unforgettable characters, Ser Duncan the Tall and his diminutive squire, Egg.

Ser Duncan, known affectionately as Dunk, is a young and inexperienced hedge knight, striving to uphold the chivalric code while navigating the perilous landscape of medieval Westeros. Towering above his rivals in height, if not in experience, Dunk possesses the courage and heart of a true knight. Joining him on his journey is his squire, a young boy with a secret identity—Egg, who is none other than Aegon Targaryen, a prince destined to sit upon the Iron Throne one day.

As Dunk and Egg travel across the Seven Kingdoms, they face powerful foes, royal intrigues, and embark on grand adventures that test their bravery and honour. From tourneys where knights compete in deadly jousts, to mysterious conspiracies that threaten the realm, their story is a captivating blend of heroism and treachery that richly expands the lore of Westeros.

Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and when the memory of the last dragon has not yet faded from living memory, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms captures the essence of medieval chivalry infused with the magic and grandeur of Martin's world-building.

This beautiful volume features over 160 illustrations by Gary Gianni, one of the foremost fantasy artists of our time. His striking artwork brings the vivid landscapes, dramatic battles, and intricate characters to life, making this book a feast for both the eyes and the imagination.

Perfect for both long-time fans of A Song of Ice and Fire and newcomers to the world of Westeros, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a must-have addition to any fantasy collection. Immerse yourself in these enchanting tales of noble knights and secret princes, where honour and courage are put to the ultimate test.
