Immerse yourself in the gripping and gritty world of The First Law Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie, now exquisitely presented in a stunning boxed set. This critically acclaimed fantasy trilogy takes readers on an unforgettable journey through a richly detailed universe brimming with dark humour, political intrigue, and relentless action.

The trilogy follows the intertwined destinies of several complex and intriguing characters. Logen Ninefingers, infamous barbarian warrior, struggles to shed his gory past and find a new purpose. Jezal dan Luthar, a vain and self-centred nobleman, yearns for glory on the battlefield but finds himself embroiled in perilous quests that challenge his beliefs and ideals. Meanwhile, Inquisitor Glokta, a crippled and cunning torturer, navigates the treacherous corridors of power in the Union, beset by conspiracies and betrayal at every turn.

Throughout the trilogy, Abercrombie masterfully deconstructs classic fantasy tropes, delivering a narrative that is as thought-provoking as it is enthralling. The reader is drawn into a world where heroes are flawed, and villains are disturbingly human, a world where moral ambiguity reigns supreme.

This boxed set is the perfect gift for existing fans of Joe Abercrombie, as well as newcomers eager to discover one of the most highly acclaimed fantasy series of the past decade. If you are a fan of the intricate politics and gritty realism found in A Game of Thrones, The First Law Trilogy will undoubtedly captivate your imagination and leave you yearning for more.

The boxed set includes:

  • The Blade Itself – The story begins with an explosive introduction to the vivid ensemble of characters and the myriad conflicts that will shape their destinies.
  • Before They Are Hanged – The stakes escalate dramatically as the characters face gruelling trials and uncover dark secrets that threaten to upheave their world.
  • Last Argument of Kings – The epic conclusion where alliances are forged and broken, and the true cost of ambition is revealed in a breathtaking finale.

With Abercrombie's signature wit and relentless pace, The First Law Trilogy Boxed Set is an essential addition to the library of any fantasy enthusiast. Embrace the darker side of fantasy and discover why Joe Abercrombie is hailed as one of the genre's most innovative and exciting authors.
