About the Author

Marco Sonseri (@marcosonseri on Insta) was born in Palermo, Sicily, on 20 February 1975. He is a prolific comic book writer, and publishes for the Italian, French and American markets. He has written for Fantagraphics, Editions Félès, Clair de Lune, ReNoir Comics, Heavy Metal, Tunué, Mad Cave Studios and many other publishers. Marco alternates, writing both stories of pure entertainment (fantasy, adventure, science fiction, etc.) and graphic journalism stories. He loves reading and the scents of good food (he likes cooking and... eating as well), is a traveler and thinks that meeting people from every corner of the planet is a beautiful thing. Marco also practices karate shotokan with assiduity. With Roberto Lauciello and Andrea Piccardo, making comics has become a nicer job. They are a trio always in action!

Roberto “LAU” Lauciello (@roberto.lauciello on Insta) is an Italian illustrator and cartoonist. He was born in Genoa, the city of Christopher Columbus, and lives in a charming little seaside town with Nadia, his most beloved fan. He draws whenever he can, but there are a lot of other things he also loves to do: biking, listening to jazz music, playing the trumpet, mountain trekking, and taking care of his garden and his chickens. He started making comics by drawing Mickey Mouse for Disney Italia, but he likes Donald Duck more. He has illustrated many graphic novels for several Italian publishers, like the Bud Spencer comic biography, written by Marco Sonseri, and Luigi Malabrocca’s comic biography, written by Roberto himself. He is a drawing teacher at the Genoa Comics Academy, an important comics school in Italy. Together with Marco Sonseri and Andrea Piccardo he would like to create a lots of comics for both adults and children, so stay tuned!

Andrea Piccardo (@piccardo_a on Insta) is an Italian colorist, born in Genoa, an ancient city of ports and merchants. Andrea's passion for comics and color was born from his grandfather's watercolors, an exceptional artist. Andrea watched his grandfather with amazement and admiration. Over the years he has published comics in Italy, France and the United States, collaborating with numerous colleagues and friends. His versatile and fast style has allowed him to draw and color many genres, but fantasy and crime give him the greatest satisfaction. Years ago, Andrea Piccardo founded the Genoa Comics Academy together with a group of colleagues. The school trains the comics artists and illustrators of the future. For over 20 years he has been producing honey in the historic center of Genoa and here he works as an activist and spokesperson for a more fair and virtuous world. He has had the fortune of collaborating many times with Roberto Lauciello, but this is the first time he puts his colors on a story by Marco Sonseri. It's so funny that he hopes to do it for a thousand other stories.
