High Times in the Low Parliament
High Times in the Low Parliament introduces us to Lana Baker, Aldgate's finest scribe, known for her sharp pen and even sharper wit. Gregarious and charming, Lana is ever so eager to please. She agrees to deliver a message for another lovely scribe in exchange for kisses, only to find herself unexpectedly dispatched to Low Parliament by a temperamental fairy.
As Lana finds herself transcribing the endless circular arguments of Parliament, the debates grow tenser and more desperate. Tradition holds that a hung vote will lead to the flooding of Parliament and a return to endless war.
Lana must rely on an unlikely pair of comradesβBugbite, the curmudgeonly fairy, and Eloquentia, the bewitching human deputyβto save humanity. Along the way, she might even woo one or two lucky ladies, battling through hell or high water.
