SOLVE THE MURDER TO SAVE WHAT'S LEFT OF THE WORLD

Outside the island, there is nothing but an all-encompassing fog that has annihilated life on Earth. This deadly mist kills anyone it touches, leaving behind an eerie silence and emptiness. However, within this desolation, a tiny island stands as a serene sanctuary. Home to 122 villagers and three scientists, the island appears idyllic, a beacon of life shrouded in mystery and tranquillity.

In this isolated utopia, villagers live in harmony, fishing, farming, and adhering to a strictly enforced curfew dictated by the scientists. Life seems perfect, until the unthinkable happens: one of the cherished scientists is found brutally murdered. This shocking event not only disturbs the peace but triggers an ominous consequence — the security systems protecting the island from the deadly fog are compromised.

The islanders are thrust into a race against time; they have 107 hours to solve the murder, or the fog will invade their haven and doom everyone on it. To make matters worse, the security system has erased everyone's memories of the night of the murder. This means that the murderer is among them, but even they might be unaware of their guilt.

The Last Murder at the End of the World is a mind-bending, genre-blending masterpiece by Stuart Turton, where science fiction and mystery converge with nail-biting intensity. Readers are invited into a world where every moment counts and every detail matters. As the clock ticks down, alliances will be tested, secrets will emerge, and the true nature of each character will be revealed.
