THE NO. 1 SUNDAY TIMES AND NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER FROM THE AUTHOR OF NETFLIX HIT THE SANDMAN

Neil Gaiman, one of the world’s most beloved storytellers, brings to life the great Norse myths in Norse Mythology, a captivating and masterfully crafted collection of tales that have inspired countless works of modern fiction and fantasy. The book delves deep into the rich tapestry of Norse legends, presenting both well-known narratives and lesser-known gems in a fresh, engaging manner.

Through powerful prose, Gaiman recounts the stories of the gods of Asgard, each character vividly brought to life with a blend of reverence and modern wit. Readers will be enthralled by tales of Odin, the wise and all-seeing All-Father; Thor, the thunderous and mighty wielder of the hammer Mjollnir; and Loki, the cunning trickster whose schemes often lead to unforeseen consequences. Other remarkable figures include Freya, the captivating goddess of love and beauty who defies anyone attempting to dominate her will.

Beginning with the genesis of the cosmos and stretching across time to the cataclysmic events of Ragnarok, Norse Mythology seamlessly weaves together a series of enthralling vignettes that explore themes of fate, betrayal, heroism, and the inexorable march of time. Every page is imbued with Gaiman's signature style, melding the ancient with the accessible, making these age-old stories feel both timeless and relevant.
