With everything sorted out at home in Muro, newly engaged Maria is ready to head back to the nation of Rubini, where her fiancé, Prince Renato, awaits. She's even patched things up with her father, who wasn't sure how to treat her after he disinherited her in favour of her baby brother. All's well that ends well!

It should be a quick and easy trip back, but along the way, Maria encounters some troubled villagers and hears about a missing girl. Of course, that means she has to stop and help them! What spirited young lady could sit still after hearing that?

Prince Renato's just going to have to wait, because Maria has a rescue mission to carry out first!
