The Bridge to Always by Lynda Marron is a captivating tale that unwinds in a small West Cork town. It all begins with Maeve Gaffney's arrival, driven by the dream of reuniting with Tim, her past love who unknowingly fathered her daughter, Emer.

Tim, now married and a respected community figure, is taken aback by the revelation of Emer's existence. Yet, the possibility of reigniting an old romance with Maeve is alluring.

Agnes, a solitary landowner, sees Maeve and Emer's presence as a chance to boost her income, and perhaps forge new friendships.

For Malachi, a reticent man brimming with deep emotions, the situation is... complicated.

Emer's journey is about maturation and finding her own voice amidst the unfolding chaos.

The arrival of the spirited mother and her quiet, observant daughter triggers unforeseen events for all five characters, weaving a web of change none of them could have anticipated.
